Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

ChatGPT Bulk Delete (“the extension”) is a Chrome extension built and run by an independent developer, qcrao (“I”, “me”). This policy explains what the extension and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version

  • Your ChatGPT conversations never leave your browser. Selecting, deleting and archiving happen entirely on the ChatGPT page. I never see chat titles or content.
  • I store your Google account basics, your plan, and simple usage counts.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. I never see your card details.
  • I don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

What I collect

Account details. When you sign in with Google I receive your email address, name, profile picture URL and Google account ID. These identify your account and let your plan follow you across browsers.

Session token. After sign-in the extension keeps a session token in your browser’s extension storage. The server keeps only a hash of it, with creation, last-seen and expiry times.

Plan and billing status. Your plan (Free, Monthly, Yearly or Lifetime), its status and renewal date, and the Stripe customer, subscription and payment IDs that link your account to Stripe.

Usage counts. How many bulk delete runs you make each day, used to apply the free plan’s daily limit. When you run an action, the extension also records the action type (for example “delete”), how many chats it handled, a timestamp, and an identifier for your Chrome profile provided by Chrome. These counts help me see which features are used and spot breakage.

Earlier purchases. If you bought the extension before October 2026, I keep the Stripe checkout ID, payment date and email of that purchase so your Lifetime plan can be restored.

What I don’t collect

  • The titles or content of your ChatGPT conversations.
  • Your OpenAI account details or password.
  • Your browsing history outside ChatGPT.
  • Card numbers or bank details. Stripe processes these directly.

The popup may show a link to another product of mine. It is a plain link and sends no data until you click it.

Who processes your data

  • Google for sign-in.
  • Stripe for payments, invoices and subscription management. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to what you enter at checkout.
  • Cloudflare hosts the server, database and this website.

How long I keep it

I keep your account and plan data for as long as your account exists, and billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Session tokens expire on their own.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time from the extension. To get a copy of your data or have your account deleted, email support@qcrao.com from the address you signed in with. Deleting your account ends any paid plan, so cancel your subscription first if you have one.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the extension.
